The best drone deals of February 2026: New players besides DJI emerge

February might not be Black Friday, but this month’s drone deals tell an interesting story about where the industry is headed in 2026.

We’re seeing something unusual: not just DJI discounts, but sales from newer manufacturers trying to establish themselves in a market DJI has dominated for years. The Antigravity A1 and SKYROVER X1 are both on sale despite being relatively new to market — a sign these upstart brands are aggressively pursuing market share. Meanwhile, DJI’s discounting pattern suggests they’re clearing inventory ahead of expected launches, potentially including the long-rumored Avata 360 that could arrive sometime this spring.

This isn’t the aggressive blowout pricing of holiday shopping season, but February 2026 is shaping up to be more interesting than the typical mid-winter lull. Here’s my break down of what drones are worth your money.

DJI’s February 2026 drone deals: Making room for what’s next

The most eye-catching discount is the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine Premium Combo at $2,699 (down from $4,799) — a $2,100 savings. This is a 2023 model, but that’s not a bad thing. If you need the built-in 1TB SSD and Apple ProRes capability that only the Cine version offers, this represents genuine value. For everyone else, newer hardware makes more sense.

The Mavic 4 Pro deals are perhaps even more compelling. The Creator Combo at $3,998 (down from $4,999) and Fly More Combo at $2,929 (down from $3,629) represent 14-19% discounts on DJI’s newest flagship. These are launch-period promotional prices, which means they’re solid if you’ve been waiting to buy a Mavic 4 Pro, though not steep enough to suggest panic selling.

With rumors of an Avata 360 and other DJI products potentially launching soon, these discounts may be strategic inventory management rather than desperation.

The Air 3S Fly More Combo at $1,599 (down from $1,899) is one of the stronger deals here — 16% off DJI’s excellent mid-range dual-camera drone. This remains the sweet spot for enthusiasts who want flagship features without flagship pricing.

On the budget end, the Mini 3 at $439 (down from $549) is 2022 hardware, but it’s proven and reliable at an extremely attractive price.

Antigravity A1: The cool new kid wants more attention

The Antigravity A1 is offering 15% off all bundles through February 9, with the entry bundle at $1,359 (down from $1,599). This is notable because it’s a promotional discount on a product that only launched in late 2025 — Antigravity is clearly trying to build market momentum while it has novelty on its side.

At $1,359 for an 8K 360 FPV drone with goggles included, this is competitive pricing for genuinely innovative technology. The A1’s 360-degree capture represents something different in the consumer drone space—not just incremental improvement, but a new shooting paradigm.

That said, you’re still paying a premium for unproven hardware from a new manufacturer. The ecosystem is minimal compared to DJI, and long-term support remains a question mark. If you’re an early adopter who wants cutting-edge 360 capture and accepts the risks that come with new technology, this deal makes the A1 more accessible.

SKYROVER X1: Another new entrant (though I haven’t tried this one myself yet)

The SKYROVER X1 at $719 (down from $898) represents a 20% discount on another new manufacturer trying to break into the market. The specs look decent on paper — 48MP stills, 4K60 HDR video, 4K100 slow-motion — but SKYROVER is a company we haven’t yet heard much about. I haven’t flown it myself — though I’ll try to get my hands on one to give you a first-person review!

If you purchase on Amazon, make sure to check the separate red box that says “coupon price $719” to get the discount.

The Outliers: niche products at niche prices

The Autel Alpha Industrial at $14,289 (down from $19,289) is enterprise hardware with a $5,000 discount. If you’re shopping for industrial drones, this represents huge savings.

The Amflow e-bikes (13-20% off through March 2) are DJI’s entry into electric bicycles, with the PL Carbon starting at $5,999 (XL size, 20% off) and the Pro at $8,599. These discounts just months after launch suggest market reception has been mixed. These are premium prices for first-generation products from a company with no bicycle industry heritage. I’d wait for comprehensive reviews and real-world testing before buying, regardless of the discount.

February drone shopping: how to view these sales

February 2026 is more interesting than typical mid-winter drone shopping because we’re seeing multiple dynamics at play: DJI appears to be clearing inventory ahead of new launches, newer manufacturers are fighting for market share, and the overall competitive landscape is shifting.

Buy now if: You’ve been waiting for a Mavic 4 Pro or Air 3S and are ready to pull the trigger, you’re comfortable being an Antigravity early adopter, or you need a proven budget drone (Mini 3) immediately.

Wait if: You want to see what DJI announces next (especially if you’re interested in FPV/360 drones), you’re risk-averse about new manufacturers, or you can hold out until summer clearance events or holiday sales when discounts typically deepen.

Keep in mind: The drone industry’s best deals typically come during Black Friday/Cyber Monday (November), post-announcement clearance when new models launch (timing varies), and summer sales events (June-July). February sits between these peaks, but the competitive pressure from new entrants and DJI’s apparent inventory clearing make this month more notable than usual.

Still, these are solid deals on products you were already considering, and the arrival of non-DJI sales suggests a more competitive market ahead. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment on specific hardware, February 2026 offers some good options.
