Christmas is this Sunday. Since putting together that guide, I’ve been scouring the Internet to find bargains on stuff drone pilots would love ahead of Christmas 2022. Here are the best deals I’ve found:

15% off DJI drones, including the DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo and DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo

The DJI Air 2S is considered my top pick for high-quality photography in my guide to the best drones for photographers. Even better is that it’s now on sale for $190 off the usual $1,299 price. That’s roughly 15% savings, bringing the price down to $1,109.

The drone stands out mostly for its 1” sensor offering 20-megapixel photos and 5.4K video. But it has other neat features, including a collision avoidance sensor on the front and back and gesture control.

If you’re on a budget, then consider the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo, which is also 15% off. The normally-low price of $599 is now even lower at $509. While I do think the newly-announced DJI Mini 3 is generally better than the DJI Mini 2, the math might change significantly when you factor in this significant discount.

This is basically the same deal that was offered as part of the Autel Black Friday 2022 sale, but it’s a good one. Between now and Jan. 2, 2023, you’ll see savings of up to 35% on Autel drone bundles, and savings of 20% on Autel batteries.

That means the EVO Nano+ Premium Bundle is now just $709, and the EVO Lite+ Premium Bundle is now just $1,199 — both 35% discounts. The discounted prices are valid both on Autel’s website and on Amazon.

$200 off Skydio 2 drone kits

This is the same deal we saw during the Skydio Black Friday 2022 sale. But, it’s a good one. For the Skydio Holiday 2022 sale, you’ll save $200 on all Skydio 2+ Kits during The deepest discount goes to the normally-$1,099 Skydio 2+ Starter Kit, which is now down to just $899 for an 18% discount.

$50 off the Apple iPad Pro: This iPad has a large, vivid display, and is worth upgrading if you’re someone who uses an iPad to operate your drone. While it’s probably not a meaningful upgrade if you already have the M1 iPad Pro or an iPad Air from the last two years, it does offer a faster processor than a previous models — which is imperative for drone piloting.

22% off the GoPro HERO10 Action Camera: I know this one feels like it’s cheating on the DJI Osmo Action 3, but it’s a swell deal if you’re not satisfied with the DJI version. And if you are in the market for an action camera, in many ways this one is far better than DJI’s offering, even for DJI devotees. It offers incredible stabilization and a smooth interface, able to record at a high frame rate of 5.3K 60 Hz. Skip it if you already own a HERO9 as it’s probably not that much better, but anyone else ready to upgrade their Action Camera should jump on this deal.
